Samsung Galaxy A52 Display Quality. Moving to the screen, the size used is 6.5-inch Super AMOLED with FHD+resolution. More interestingly, this display also offers 90Hz refresh rate support. Furthermore, the front display is also covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 support – which, can be considered an interesting improvement if you want to compare with its predecessor which uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Before I talk more about the performance on this screen, I have noticed some comments on the video as well as a previous first glance article. There are a handful of people who ask, isn’t the Samsung Galaxy A52 also available in the version? The screen is 120Hz? Well, the answer is correct. The Samsung Galaxy A52 is indeed present in two different variation offerings namely 4G and 5G. But unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G version is not offered at all to users in Malaysia. Instead, only the 4G version is available. So here, I hope this description answers your previous question.

Personal Experience

In terms of personal experience, I admit to liking the screen on this smartphone. The reason is, this AMOLED screen looks so beautiful. Not only that, just look here the screen quality also looks sharp and bright. The color processing on this display is also pretty good – where the visual or video content displayed on the front of the device looks great. Everything, can be watched clearly without problems – including outdoor use.

Through it too, the resulting colors look more vibrant, in addition to the blacks that look really dark. The 90Hz refresh rate support on this samsung android is also commendable in terms of its performance. This 90Hz screen works well and every movement can be detected accurately. In a simple sense, it was satisfying and the scrolling really felt good throughout this review.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Thin and Light Design

Samsung Galaxy A52 Thin and Light Design

Samsung Galaxy A52 thin and light design also allows it to be easily carried anywhere without feeling burdened. Apart from that, its compact and pocket -friendly size also makes it ideal for those who prefer an ideal sized device. Easy story, fit in a small bag or hold in hand all just comfortable.

Another model approach used by Samsung here is the support of a perforated screen in the middle to fit the front camera with a single lens. As a user, you do not have to worry about the existence of this hole because its size is small and does not interfere with the use of this smart android as a whole. So, it doesn’t matter whether you use it to browse the web, or even play first. Everything is fine.

Side Device Design

For the design of the side of the device, it places the power button and volume up on the right side. Next, it places space for the SIM at the top. Talking more about it, this space only supports dual-sim slot; however it is designed based on hybrid via Nano-SIM (SIM1) + Nano-SIM/microSD (SIM2) slot. It will indirectly make it difficult for some users; to take advantage of both SIMs simultaneously when a microSD card is in use.

For connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy A52 uses a USB-C-based port for charging and data transfer purposes. More interestingly, Samsung also still retains the 3.5mm audio jack; that is placed on the bottom along with the speakers and USB-C port earlier. This is good news for anyone who is not ready to use TWS or wireless earphones. Here, Samsung provides what you need.

What makes this device even more interesting is that the support for the speakers is a kind of stereo with Dolby Atmos support. In terms of audio performance, it is capable of presenting a good experience. The resulting sound sounds quite loud at the highest settings. Using it for phone calls is also satisfying.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Official Release

Samsung Galaxy A52 Official Release

Samsung Galaxy A52 Official Release. Moving into 2021, we can see Samsung bringing a new identity to their Galaxy A series. There are up to four different models introduced namely Samsung Galaxy A32, Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, Samsung Galaxy A52 and Samsung Galaxy A72.

However, our focus for this article is the Samsung Galaxy A52. Unlike before, Samsung has taken a more interesting approach to the collection this time around. Each element included this time has an interesting value. Not only that, each of them is also carefully planned by Samsung’s designers.

As you can see, the appearance of each of them looks more relaxed, dynamic and even interesting. Not only that, but it also certainly does not disappoint us as consumers. Although the back panel for this time is still plastic but it is not a smooth and shiny plastic construction like before. Instead, Samsung uses a kind of matte material with four interesting color variation options – such as Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet Awesome Black and Awesome White. To find out more? You can see for yourself, can’t you? How is the presentation for Samsung’s designs on their device collection this time around? If before, among the brands that are often associated with attractive design offerings on devices are Vivo and Oppo. This time, Samsung also does not want to be left behind to compete in providing something special for loyal users. Undoubtedly, they are now quite smart in choosing designer finishing materials for this collection. Through it, it is not only delicious to hold but does not feel slippery at all.

At the same time, such a finish can also overcome a concern that often haunts all users – namely the effect of dirt that easily sticks to the android backpanel. Moreover extreme fingerprint dirt. This time, we guarantee there will be no more problems with the matter. On the other hand, you can use it quite comfortably and well.

Samsung Galaxy A72 Battery Quality

Samsung Galaxy A72 Battery Quality

Samsung Galaxy A72 Battery Quality. A 5,000mAh capacity battery is used on the Samsung Galaxy A72. At the same time, it also supports fast charging reaching 25W and more importantly, Samsung also provides a charger head in the box along with it. Through this battery, it is able to provide good durability through SOT readings around 7 – 8 hours for use throughout the day. As usual, this durability will of course change according to the use of each. For recharging, it can be made via the USB-C connection port and the included cable is USB-C to USB-C type. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A52, it includes a USB-A to USB-C type cable.

In addition, although the Samsung Galaxy A72 is a middle class android. But, it comes with interesting capabilities often found on flagship devices – such as the IP67 waterproof rating. Terroristically, according to Samsung this smartphone can be submerged in water up to 1-meter in about 30 minutes. However, it is not recommended for use on the beach, swimming pool and soapy water. Apart from that, it also has a stereo type speaker with Dolby Atmos support.

For me, the improvements that Samsung brings to their latest flagship devices are actually quite large. Who is this device for? It is more recommended for users who want a device with a premium build, attractive photography system, waterproof and even stereo speakers. I also feel not many smart devices in the same class are capable of offering this complete package in a smart device.

The offer price is RM1,899 for one. I admit, this offer may be a bit expensive for some. Still, you need to know that – to get the best of things. Of course, you have to spend more and it would not be a mistake if done in the right circumstances. In fact, I also think the design on it is more premium than a number of other devices on the market today. But if you want something cheaper, don’t worry because you still have another option, namely the Samsung Galaxy A52 which is sold at a price tag of only RM1499. As always, for those who are interested you can already get it today too!

Samsung Galaxy A72 Camera Quality

Samsung Galaxy A72 Camera Quality

Samsung Galaxy A72 Camera Quality. Although the Samsung Galaxy A52 and Samsung Galaxy A72 have main quad-camera system support. But, these two models actually have different sensor offerings. Where, the Samsung Galaxy A72 has an 8-Megapixel telephoto sensor along with support for 3X optical zoom and Space Zoom digital zoom up to 30X.

So, the camera settings on the Samsung Galaxy A72 consist of a combination of 64-Megapixel (Main) + 12-Megapixel (Ultra-Wide) + 8-Megapixel (Telephoto) + 5-Megapixel (Macro). Arguably, the offering is quite attractive as this is features found on a number of Samsung’s flagship devices before. For selfie photos, users can use a 32-Megapixel sensor placed in a small screen hole.

When it comes to camera capabilities, pictures taken on Samsung android certainly have their own characteristics. Similarly with the Samsung Galaxy A72, it showcases better capabilities than the previous generation. Here, it is capable of capturing photos with attractive, neutral color reproduction and quite good sharpness.

As seen on a number of examples included below. The image on the lighting quite capable of being taken sharply and there are no immediate problems. In addition, the pictures at night are also quite good with satisfactory results. But, more prominent picture production  enjoyed by activating the night mode built into the camera app.

Moving to the ultra-wide picture result, it still shows the effect of distortion. At the same time, the details are also a bit runaway for some situations – at the same time, making the resulting image look less sharp. As always, nothing expected with a 5-Megapixel macro sensor on it-the result is extremely unsatisfactory with unsatisfactory colors and unsatisfactory details.

Unlike the Samsung Galaxy A52, the Samsung Galaxy A72; becomes more attractive with the support of 3X optical zoom and 30X digital zoom. The quality looks good in bright lighting, but is a bit disappointing when used at night.

The Samsung Galaxy A72 Achievements

The Samsung Galaxy A72 Achievements

The Samsung Galaxy A72 Achievements. uses the same chip as the Samsung Galaxy A52. It is powered by a 720G Snapdragon chip with a combined Adreno 618 GPU, 8GB of RAM memory and 256GB of internal storage. We also had time to do some benchmarking tests on this smartphone. Where, the Samsung Galaxy A72 managed to record a score of 288,922 points for the Antutu test. Meanwhile, 550 points for the single -core test and 1,655 points for the multi -core test are through the Geekbench benchmark.

Friendly, I haven’t experienced any performance -related iau. Overall, it is seen to be able to offer a pretty good daily use experience, not too shabby. All the processes of opening daily applications and websites can be done in a short time. Not only that, the use for multi-tasking also feels smooth.

In terms of games, there are several types of games that have just been tested. For example Alphats 9, this game can only be played at the highest graphics settings without any extreme problems. Later, the Samsung Galaxy A72 can also play Genshin Impact games that is a flagship games just like the previous Samsung Galaxy A52. However, you are advised to play with the lowest graphics setting at 30fps. It, however, can still be played at higher settings. Only, the gaming experience will not be the same in the future.

For interface support, it also uses the OneUI 3.1 operating system built on Android 11 – the same as can be found on the Samsung Galaxy A52. As always, a variety of user -friendly features can be found on it. Also, my personal experience has found the use to be very user friendly. The interface is also easy to understand and the design and icons are still minimalist.

Samsung Galaxy A72 Size Review

Samsung Galaxy A72 Size Review

Samsung Galaxy A72 Size Review. Although basically the size on the Samsung Galaxy A72 can be said to be quite large for a smart device. But, its good construction makes this smart android device comfortable only to be held or held for a long period of time. For your information, I am one of the users of Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. So I had absolutely no problem getting used to a device of this size.

But, it can also be said, you as a consumer or buyer have some good options. The point here is, if you prefer a device with a large screen size – the Samsung Galaxy A72 is among the options I feel are appropriate. If not, you can just choose the Samsung Galaxy A52 which has a 6.5-inch screen size that is more ideal and easy to carry anywhere.

Speaking of quality, there’s no denying it’s a beautiful screen. All the icons and images displayed look pretty sharp and unbroken. In a simple sense, just comfortable to look at. Still, I started noticing an issue when using it outdoors – for example in the scorching sun.

To be honest, it makes me feel a little uncomfortable. I found that the screen would continue to dim – even if the brightness setting used was at its maximum. This indirectly makes it difficult for me to see or read what is displayed on the screen.

In comparison, I did not experience this issue when testing the Samsung Galaxy A52 before. The screen is bright only and can be used without any problems. All content displayed can only be read properly on the screen of the Samsung Galaxy A52. So, it is clear here that the performance on the Samsung Galaxy A72 is very different from the Samsung Galaxy A52.

Samsung Galaxy A72 Inspired by S21 Series

Samsung Galaxy A72 Inspired by S21 Series

At first glance, Samsung Galaxy A72 inspired by S21 series but not entirely. More interestingly, the entire back panel on the Samsung Galaxy A72 is made of an attractive and beautiful matte finish. Not only that, this kind of finish is also not easy to trap fingerprint dirt and even scratch marks.

Speaking of the important connection port on this Samsung Galaxy A72, it uses a USB-C connection port. Not only that, this smartphone also still retains a 3.5mm audio jack which is felt to be very suitable for users who are not yet ready to switch winds to the use of TWS. Again I say, you don’t have to worry because Samsung gives you what you need.

Moving on to the side design, it’s just the same as the Samsung Galaxy A52. It houses the power button and volume adjuster on the right side. Next, it places space for the SIM at the top. Talking more about it, this space only supports dual-sim slot however it is designed based on hybrid via Nano-SIM (SIM1) + Nano-SIM/microSD (SIM2) slot. It will indirectly make it difficult for some users to take advantage of both SIMs simultaneously when a microSD card is in use.

The Samsung Galaxy A72 uses a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Infinity-O design. In addition, it also comes with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels), pixel density of 407 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Just like the previous generation, the front camera hole is still in the middle. There may be some or most of us who do not like this screen design.

Actually, it’s not as bad as you might think. On the other hand, the holes here are small and such designs are also capable of presenting a higher screen-to-body ratio. Indirectly, this will be able to provide viewing satisfaction when using this android smart device. Coupled with its large screen, more content can be viewed in a single display.

Brief Review for the Samsung Galaxy A72

Brief Review for the Samsung Galaxy A72

Allow me to share the brief review for the Samsung Galaxy A72 anyway. It is one of the devices that has caught the attention of many since its introduction around the middle of last month. Among the factors that make it popular is the supply on specifications and functions that are now diversified according to the needs of many. Coupled with its finish that now looks more relaxed – here clearly shows Samsung has also always taken into account the lifestyle of today’s consumers who are always thirsty for something interesting.

Roughly speaking, the offerings on the Samsung Galaxy A72 are actually not much different from the Samsung Galaxy A52. The same exterior design concept is also used on the front and back. Then, the finish and choice of color variations are also still the same. Even so, of course, there are still some changes that make the Samsung Galaxy A72 look different. If not, why is there a difference of around RM400 for the price offer?

Among the notable changes is on the screen size section. Where, the screen used on the Samsung Galaxy A72 is larger at 6.7-inches. The panel, however, is still a Super AMOLED FHD+ with a 90Hz refresh rate. Another other change lies in the battery capacity. Where, the 4,500mAh battery on the Galaxy A52 is now upgraded to 5,000mAh on the Samsung Galaxy A72. So, what other changes are there on this Samsung Galaxy A72? Keep reading this review article to the end.

As always, we’ll start the android device review with a touch on the design first. Just like the Samsung Galaxy A52, the Samsung Galaxy A72 also no longer uses a back panel with a prism-like design, smooth or shiny. The design on it remains simple, minimalist and brand new.

Realme Narzo 30a Have Been Changed

Realme Narzo 30a Have Been Changed

There are some features and specifications on the Realme Narzo 30A have been changed right? Here he is. If you remember, the Realme Narzo 20 previously used a tri-camera system with a 48-Megapixel sensor. However, the Realme Narzo 30A is only include with two sensors. Not only that, but the main sensor is smaller through 13-Megapixel support followed by the second sensor is 2-Megapixel for monochrome purposes. Then, selfies can be taken using the 8 Megapixel front sensor.

As for the camera’s performance, it feels like we didn’t set a high benchmark against its production. For shooting at adequate lighting, the quality looks fine and acceptable. The color rendering for most situations looks satisfying with fine detail.

It can still take pictures at low lighting. But, the results are less than satisfactory with significant noise problems. At the same time, the details on the images seen as unsatisfactory. For selfies are still acceptable. It is bright and there is an AI Beauty function by allowing users to control the level of beauty as needed. For video recording, it has the highest recording setting up to 1080P/30fps. It seen as adequate for daily use. But unfortunately, no specific stabilization mode included along with it.

Finally, the battery. Realme is certainly not shy to provide batteries with large capacity on a number of their output realme android phone. Just like the Realme Narzo 30A itself, it equipped with a 6,000mAh battery that  felt to be enough for daily use of a handful of users today. This is the same battery capacity as on the Realme C12 and Realme C15.

Realme Narzo 30A Is Not Satisfying

Realme Narzo 30A Is Not Satisfying

Realme Narzo 30A is not satisfying. Where, you will notice some apps will start taking longer than usual to open when too many apps are used at one time. The scrolling experience also becomes less smooth and the animation transitions start to evoke a less satisfying feel.

As for gaming performance, it is also capable of playing most of the firsts well at modest graphics settings. Although, sometimes there is a time delay problem that occurs. This can only be overcome by lowering the graphics settings to a lower level. In terms of temperature production, it feels warm when played at around over 15 minutes.

Before forgetting, the software used is still Realme UI based on Android 10. It’s a bit disappointing here because a number of competitors in the same class are already present with the Android 11 offering. Through it too, you will find existing functions on it such as dark mode, navigation features brand new and more. Realme informed, however, it will be updated with Realme UI 2.0 support soon.

Touching on the camera, you will definitely notice that the camera module here is rectangular with four circles in it, right? Obviously, one of them is LED Flash. The rest will look as if the use of three sensors. But, kindly remind us, don’t be fooled by what you see here. The reason is, it only has two camera sensors. Another is just a decoration with a rounded AI logo.

Realme Narzo 30a Feel Sturdy in the Grip

Realme Narzo 30A Feel Sturdy in the Grip

Realme Narzo 30A feel sturdy in the grip, but feels very heavy as it has a mass of around 208grams. Not only that, the build is also found to be thicker than most smart devices on the market today. This is the same situation I experienced when making reviews for the Realme C12 and Realme C15 before. As usual, this may be due to the use of a large 6000mAh battery on it.

The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side. The construction feels good with a finish made of plastic material. Then, the SIM slot is located on the left side and it supports up to three different card slots. Where, you can use two Nano-Sim cards and one microSD simultaneously without any problem. Next, the Realme Narzo 30A has USB-C connection port support, 3.5mm audio jacks and speakers on the bottom side of the device.

Moving to the front, the screen used is a kind of small notch for the placement of the front camera. The size here is the same standard as a number of existing Realme android i.e. a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels). Here are a few comments we would like to give. Guess, there’s nothing wrong with Realme trying to give an FHD+ screen here.

Realme Narzo 30A Release

Realme Narzo 30A Release

Realme Narzo 30A Release. Initially, the Realme Narzo series was specifically for the Indian market only. Soon, it began to expand its offerings to several other markets including Malaysia itself. Through it, the models that have been introduced such as Realme Narzo 10, Realme Narzo 10A, Realme Narzo 20, Realme Narzo 20A, Realme Narzo 20 Pro, Realme Narzo 30A and Realme Narzo 30 Pro. Just for your information, we in Malaysia do not accept offers for Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A. However, the offerings on it are actually very similar to the Realme 6i and Realme C3.

Suffice it to say about the lineage of the Realme Narzo series. Going back to the original topic of this article which will focus on Realme Narzo 30A. Try you read on the title of this article and surely you are wondering, why is this android said to be just a cheaper Realme Narzo 20? The answer is simple, read this article to the end and this question will be answered.

Roughly speaking, what we noticed. This Realme 30A is very similar to the previous Realme Narzo 20. But there are still some parts on the modified smart device. For example, the most notable here is on the finishing part. It is undeniable, there are very significant differences made here. As we recall, the ‘Narzo’ branding on the back panel of the device for previous models was placed on the bottom.

Realme 8 Pro Night Picture Quality

Realme 8 Pro Night Picture Quality

Realme 8 Pro night picture quality no major improvement can seen. It is still at a satisfactory level of vulnerable settings with noise effects. The camera also includes a dedicated night mode along with it. But, it will take some time to process the picture. For ultra-wide images and portraits, the production of all images looks satisfactory but also depends on the surrounding situation.

The result of this android portrait photograph can distinguish the subject from the background well. But, there are still some parts that still need to improved. As for the macro image results, there is nothing special. The results are not clear even when taken at close range. Finally, the 16-Megapixel front camera, the picture results look satisfactory and as usual here there is still a built-in beauty function.

Video recording on the Realme 8 Pro is also good. For settings, it is capable of recording up to the highest settings of 4K with a resolution of 30fps. Special stabilization modes can also found along with it for more stable video production. Not only that, a number of special effects modes or filters for more interesting video recording purposes can also found on it-such as Dual-View Video Mode, AI Color Portrait, Ultra Nightscape Video, Tilt Shift Mode and so on.

Realme 8 Pro Is Pleasing to the Eye

Realme 8 Pro Is Pleasing to the Eye

Realme 8 Pro is pleasing to the eye no matter when using this smart android to watch videos on Youtube or view any image content displayed on the screen. A notable drawback that can be criticized is the absence of high refresh rates. The Realme still stays with the 60Hz screen and it’s a bit disappointing. This is because, it is a new model. So, I was expecting something better than the previous generation. But it turns out not, it’s the same. In fact, if you remember the previous Realme 6 Pro Realme was able to offer a 90Hz screen. Why not for this time? Only Realme knows the answer.

Also Read: Realme 8 Pro Back Panel

Speaking of performance, the Realme 8 Pro is a 4G smart android with a 720G Snapdragon chip along with 8GB of RAM memory. We will definitely be among the users who express frustration with this matter. Cuisine not, this is the same chip used since the previous two generations – starting from the Realme 6 Pro, then the Realme 7 Pro. The latest, Realme 8 Pro as well. Again, why? According to Realme itself, the Snapdragon 720G is still one of the best 4G processing chips on the market and their engineers have great experience in optimizing better performance on the device.

Even so, don’t worry because it is still able to carry out daily tasks well. This includes me using it to surf the web, scroll social media and a number of other related activities. But, it’s a lie if I say it’s good, isn’t it? Undoubtedly, the problem of time delay also still occurs for some situations. For example, when I’m navigating the interface.

So, if you can compromise on this modest performance. Guess, no problem to buy it per unit. But, if you are an existing Realme 7 Pro user, it feels like there is no reason for you to upgrade to Realme 8 Pro. Unless, you want to feel the experience of using a large 108-Megapixel sensor camera which I will tell about its quality in the next paragraph.

Realme 8 Pro Back Panel

Realme 8 Pro Back Panel

Realme 8 Pro Back Panel. Compliments can still be given with a finish like this. His appearance here may not be the most interesting. But such a finish, it makes the back panel of this smart device not too slippery. Unless you’re the type who often sweats on the hands. The back panel will definitely feel a little slippery when in the grip. Furthermore, such finishes are also not easily trapped or dirty with fingerprints. So, not using a framework along with it is felt to be not a big deal.

However, Realme is still not shy to give away the basic silicone frame for free in the purchase box. Not to be outdone, this kind of finish can also help in providing a good grip. In addition to its thin and light construction, it indirectly makes it easy for me to take it anywhere without any issues. So, the experience of comfort in that grip – I can’t compromise here.

Subsequent compliments can also be given to the cheerful color combinations included. For example, the shades of blue and liquid blue found on this review unit – indirectly able to further highlight the style of the wearer himself. For those asking about the color code of this device, it is Infinite Blue. I also feel that this kind of color aura is quite suitable – both for men and women.

Criticism is essentially the opposite of praise. So, we need to give a negative comment for the big ‘DARE TO LEAP’ writing on the back panel. I’m sure not everyone will like or can accept a loaded finish like this. As can be seen, the font size used is too large to almost fill half of the back panel. It looks quite loaded. So, for those of you looking for a smart device with a minimalism, simple and uncluttered finish. This smart device will definitely not satisfy your taste. Honestly, I personally don’t like it because it’s a bit annoying when every time I look at this back panel.

The Audio of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

The Audio of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

The audio of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite are simply satisfactory. Although stereo speakers are included, the audio cast feels flat and cluttered at high volume. Bass and treble are at a moderate level and actually not that exciting. This lackluster audio is because the Dolby audio system is not supported. This shortcoming is forgivable as the audio quality device is much better; when using external audio accessories than on the included physical speakers.

The 4250 mAh Mi 11 Lite battery can last almost 24 hours and the SOT up to 8 hours in moderate use. For a device with a small battery size (other devices in its class come with a 5000 mAh battery) and a 90Hz screen, the battery performance of the Mi 11 Lite is satisfactory. With the 33W charger provided by Xiaomi with every purchase, the battery recharged in less than 1 hour.

Just as the Mi 11 Lite is the flagship device of choice for those who don’t want to spend more, the Mi 11 Lite is a mid -range device of choice as well for those who don’t want to spend more. Two Xiaomi -made devices are offered in Malaysia at pandemic; friendly prices but still provide good value for every dollar spent by buyers.

The comfortable design, good 90Hz screen, unobtrusive processor, satisfactory camera; and battery that can last all day make the Mi 11 Lite a device that is “light” in name but “heavy” in value on offer.

Xiaomi’s reputation of always offering devices at affordable prices remained this year making other manufacturers need to change their marketing strategies. If the alternative you are looking for a device we feel is better is the Samsung Galaxy A52 (RM1499); which comes with a larger battery, waterproof capabilities, greater storage, longer software support and audio jacks.

But if all this is not important to you Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite; which sold at a price of RM1199 we easily recommend it to those; who are looking for a smartphone with the best value on the market.

Telephones And GPS of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

Telephones And GPS of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

Telephones And GPS of Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. Phone calls can be made clearly and the device has no problem getting a tether to the 4G network through the SIM we use. Clearer call quality can be enjoyed if VoLTE mode is activated but this is highly dependent on the telecommunications company subscribed. One feature that is not supported is phone calls using WiFi (VoWiFI) networks.

GPS performance is also extremely fast with locations being tracked in under two seconds when tested using Waze and Google Maps. It works well even when tested in the heart of Kuala Lumpur during peak times. All major satellite tracking systems such as GPS, BeiDou; and Galileo are supported making it easy to use overseas when air travel reopens.

In the Geekbench 5 test, Mi 11 Lite recorded 563/1768 marks for single core and multi core; and in the Antutu 3D test it recorded 349,772 marks. What we found interesting was that in the Antutu test, the Snapdragon 690 scored higher; even though it was from the Snapdragon 600 series. As said in the Nord N10 review of the day period, the main core on the Snapdragon 690 (Cortex-A77) is more up-to-date than the one used on Snapdragon 732G (Cortex-A76).

This mid -range chip is still capable of delivering first -class performance at satisfactory medium settings without overheating issues. The application can be launched without any problems and the device feels fast when used. Obviously, the chip, which is already eight months old, is still suitable for use in 2021.

The Mi 11 Lite Is the Thinnest Device

The Mi 11 Lite Is the Thinnest Device

The Mi 11 Lite is the thinnest device we’ve ever reviewed since the Oppo R5. Often when a device becomes too thin it is uncomfortable to use. But the sides of the Mi 11 Lite are rounded and holding it is extremely comfortable even for long periods of time. What’s awkward is that it’s also among the lightest devices we’ve ever used. Sometimes it feels like using a demo device that can be found in the store. Fortunately, the silicone frame is provided by Xiaomi because when worn only the awkwardness due to it being too light can be resolved.

There are no audio jacks on the Mi 11 Lite; but a pair of stereo speakers somewhat alleviates any frustration there is. Infrared and NFC transmitters are also included making it an almost complete device even in the middle class. Complementing the specifications is 5GHz WiFi support, bluetooth 5.1, various satellite navigation systems and VoLTE.
