At the top there is a small notch for the front Huawei P30 Pro camera. Huawei did not include a 3D face scanning system on the P3o Pro and the result is that the notch on this device is smaller than the Mate 20 Pro. Complementing the screen specifications is a built -in fingerprint scanner on the screen. It still retains optical scanning technology. Currently only the Galaxy S10 and S10+ are equipped with a fingerprint scanning system in a faster and safer ultrasonic screen.
A 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor is use and it is the same processor as found on the Mate 20 Pro and Honor View20. The Kirin 980 comes with a 2+2+4 core configuration used. The two main-core A76 cores with a speed of 2.6GHz are match with two Cortex-A76 cores with a speed of 1.92GHz and four low-power Cortex-A55 cores with a speed of 1.8 GHz. This is match with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM memory and storage up to 512GB. For those who need additional storage, there is NM card support up to 256GB. Like Samsung, Huawei continues to offer 8GB of RAM memory on their flagship devices and skips the 6GB RAM offering. The main camera on the back incorporates a 40+20+8+Megapixel TOF sensor. This is an improvement from only 40+20+8 Megapixels use on the Mate 20 Pro. The 40-Megapixel sensor is equip with an f/1.6 wide-angle lens, a 20-Megapixel with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens; and an 8-Megapixel sensor with a 5X f/3.4 optical zoom lens. The uniqueness of the 8-Megapixel sensor used is the periscope system; that can perform 10X invisible hybrid zoom and 50X digital zoom. No mobile Huawei device was capable of doing this sensor capability before the P30 Pro was launched.
