Battery in Pixel 4

Battery in Pixel 4

The battery in Pixel 4 is also among the disadvantages of this device. But, with my use that makes the Pixel 4 as my second device actually the battery is just enough. But if made as a primary daily device it may not be. The battery is only 2800mAh, 90Hz screen, AMOLED, a lot of power consumption for machine learning and artificial intelligence – too much power consumption for a small battery.

2800mAh for this much usage is not suitable. Already I use all the built -in Pixel 4 functions, including Motion Sense. The battery I get is around 2-3 hours SOT if using it to an extreme. However if my usage is light, there is no problem at all to achieve 5 hours of SOT with a 90Hz screen. Then the 18W USB-PD charging was fast enough for me. People’s term now is “Where do you want to go fast?”.
Conclusion

The Google Pixel 4 is undeniably a great android. It has good and satisfactory camera performance. If. Yes there is if, ignore the ultra wide angle lens. The quality of the camera to this day is still hard for me to forget since the Pixel 2 again. No Pixel, no GCam. The color is alive, the value of keHDRannya bright, beautiful and satisfied to the eye. Not to forget also with the Pixel 4, the audio quality when recording video is much better and surprisingly.

Performance

Turning to performance, yes the benchmark score is not able to compete with other devices. But haters will still hate. Because if you don’t use this device, you won’t understand why I really appreciate this device. The experience of using native Android is very satisfying and no other device can produce Android as well as this.

Yes I understand, the battery is categorized as garbage, unsatisfactory performance, and the camera is only two lenses. But I am still fond of this device. I’ve been using Android devices since 2013, no other device is as smart as this Google Pixel. In fact, while I was using the Nexus 5X the experience of using the original Android was also different.

Google Pixel 4 Cameras

Okay, this is where many Google Pixel 4 cameras don’t like it. Many are frustrated that Google has become as stingy as Apple. But, back to your usage. Pixel 4 is not for all users and only certain users will choose this device. Pixel 4 is for those who love a good native Android usage experience and a taste of how to use a real smart device. It’s really smart in terms of software and that’s what Google is focused on.

Like me, yes I love cameras with ultra wide angle lenses. But, if not I can just live or just use the pixel android. The case on the Pixel 4, I can honestly say with the picture quality that the Pixel can produce continues to make me forget about the ultra wide angle lens. He’s good enough. I’m comfortable using it.

Ok, for Night Sight. Yes, she is indeed satisfied and beautiful. But, I was disappointed because I couldn’t take beautiful and satisfying astrophotographic pictures. The location I stayed at was a location that didn’t have a lot of stars and this was the best result I could get. Still, the other results are fine. There was an obvious noise situation, but it wasn’t bad.

Images

For Top Shot images, this is an example of what a Top Shot is. Actually it is burst mode only. Only with Google’s ingenuity, it can choose the most beautiful, neat and stable results. What do you say? Can you excuse Google for not putting an ultra-wide angle lens, but you will get a satisfactory picture result. Check out the other samples below, and express your opinion in the comments section.

Since Pixel 2016, Google has been using stereo speakers on Pixel 4. But only on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 does Google use front -facing stereo speakers. Since the Pixel 3a again Google has returned the concept of earpiece speakers + audio drive under the device, just like the original Pixel.

Google Assistant in Pixel 4

Google Assistant in Pixel 4

Only Google Assistant in Pixel 4 is smoother and with a new interface. Oh yes, also on the Pixel 4 there is already Google Assistant support that can listen to commands continuously, without the user having to repeatedly say “Hey, Google”.

Dual-Camera Only !!!

The combination of 16MP + 12.2MP lens as the main camera is a wise choice from Google. Yes, I will never forget and remain disappointed that there is no ultra wide angle lens support. But this telephoto mode that Google offers is different from the others and interesting to use. Then, you have to remember why Google continues to use 16MP and 12.2MP – Megapixel size is not a determinant of great camera quality. It depends on the software, the type of sensor and also the photography expertise.

Social Share, Astrophotography & Frequent Face

This is a smart function that Google introduced in the Pixel android series 4. I’ll tell you about its ingenuity only here, the picture quality you can read in the camera section in another paragraph. Social Share is a quick sharing that users can do immediately after taking a picture. There will be three social media platform options to choose from.

Astrophotography is a new night mode built into Night Sight. It can take pictures of the stars in the sky, but unfortunately can’t capture the love stars of my heart .. Actually, this function is a long exposure mode only. Depending on the ambient light conditions, this mode will set itself the appropriate shutter time. Sometimes from 30 seconds, there are situations reaching from 1 minute to over 2 minutes.

Frequent Face is a function that will focus on one individual only when taking pictures. So when taking Motion Photos, Top Shot – the picture that most often the individual is in focus will have a more interesting picture result.

Google Pixel 4 Device

Google Pixel 4 Device

Using this Google Pixel 4 device reminds me of the days of using the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. This device is a lightweight and thin device. When stored in a pants pocket, honestly I can say it almost feels like no device is stored. Many times also I use this device before bed. I would use it without a frame as well, as the frame is already comfortable to use – so it’s not easy to fall on my face. While lying down, while holding is also not a problem.

Interesting & Smart Functions

Pixel 4 this time offers many smart functions that are indeed A+. To this day I still use the Pixel 4 as my second device because of these interesting functions.

Ambient EQ

Ambient EQ is Google’s answer to True Tone by Apple. It can change the display of the device according to the surrounding light conditions. It’s not Night Light, or Adaptive Display – but more of adjusting the white color balance on the device. So according to the outside light conditions, the display of the device will always be suitable and comfortable for the user to see.

Always-On Display

It is not a new function. In fact, Nokia has been using it since the days of Lumia devices. It is a display mode that only displays the time, date, notifications and some other information on the lock screen. More interesting to use is on OLED devices. This is because the black color is real black and only the information displayed will turn on the OLED on the android device panel.

On Pixel 4, if using Pixel Stand or any wireless charger that supports Pixel 3/Pixel 4-it will change to Google Assistant Ambient Mode. That is the Google Assistant mode that works almost completely while the device is charging. To make it easier to understand, it will turn the device into a smart display like Google Nest Hub by displaying more information, controlling music or even displaying Google Photos.

Google Pixel 4 Phone

Google Pixel 4 Phone

What have you done with this Google Pixel 4 phone? I personally don’t understand with Google right now. Yes, they are companies that focus on software rather than hardware. But for software to run better, there has to be great hardware.

Supposedly Google should raise the minimum storage option to 128GB and use the UFS 3.0 format. Google Photos’ original size unlimited storage offer is no longer available. The Pixel 4 has pretty good camera quality and definitely has a great size. 64GB for 2019? Google’s stupid choice.

Camera

We move on to the camera specifications. Like Apple a few years ago, Google is also stubbornly following other competing companies. As such, the camera on the Pixel 4 has only two lenses. While now is the trend of quad-camera or penta-camera. Google sluggishly uses dual-lenses. Apple, meanwhile, has shifted in trend, using tri-cameras. The lenses used are 16MP and 12.2MP for the rear camera. It is a regular wide -angle lens and a telephoto lens. There are no ultra -wide -angle lenses that many want, as Google states telephoto lenses are more important. God, Google, Google. I am writing a review article this also continues to feel disappointed. But, as a fan I have to look for more positive things.

The selfie camera is 8MP and there is only one lens for selfies. The thick front forehead holds flood-emitting type near infrared (NIR) lenses, point projector type and camera. No more dual-lenses like the Pixel 3. But it has a satisfying wide-angle view. I will describe the other sensors in another paragraph. The battery on this device is only 2800mAh with 18W USB Power Delivery fast charging support and 10W wireless charging.

Complementing the android device specs that so far have bland specs are Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Active Edge pinch sensor, Motion Sense (Soli radar chip), haptic engine that has textured and sharp mimics as well as IP68 waterproof protection.

Realme X2 Pro Picture

Realme X2 Pro Picture

Clearly here so far, all the samples are outside and have enough sunlight, so all the Realme X2 Pro picture results are beautiful. The signage is clearly readable, the details also remain and there’s no denying there’s a bit of noise – but it does display an interesting street image.

Taking pictures in slightly unique angles, the Realme X2 Pro camera is capable of shooting in different results than the others. It has good focus, auto focus is also good and makes the value of one’s creativity stand out more. Every result I record makes me feel excited.

For recording at night or in dark conditions, this is a serious drawback on the Realme X2 Pro. Although Realme claims that they have used an all -new algorithm and have a new Super Nightscape mode, the results are disappointing. The result of the picture is full of noise, details run, the colors are not pretty and the focus is also a bit run.

Battery Life

The battery life of this device is in class A. It is capable of lasting over 6 hours SOT with the high refresh rate screen activated. This SOT watch is also an extreme user with a few hours of streaming, the first of several matches, camera usage over 30 minutes, and web surfing as well as social media usage.

If light use, SOT 8 hours can be achieved without any problems. The 4000mAh battery used is a dual-cell type, and it will guarantee longer battery life and health.

Charging

The charging system used is SuperVOOC 50W. Yes, Realme still replaces the fast charging system from Oppo. So is the OnePlus, so this is not a big issue. The charging time of this device from 0% -100% is 30 minutes only. The animation when the device is charging is also very fast, as if it is downloading something. Download battery percentage possible?

Making this device almost perfect is, Realme also added USB Power Delivery -based fast charging support. But his power is not shared. I expected it to be 15W, which is the same used on the OnePlus 7T Pro. So, if the SuperVOOC charger is left behind-just use any USB-PD charger is no longer a problem and will not endanger the battery health of the realme android.

Realme X2 Pro Back Panel

Realme X2 Pro Back Panel

Although the Realme X2 Pro back panel is glass, it doesn’t feel like glass. Even when held it feels like a normal Realme device only and as if there is no value of a landmark device. The cover on the back is from Gorilla Glass 5, yet honestly I say it seems to be no different from the Glasstic panel used on Samsung mid -range devices. The colors that Realme offers are Lunar White and Neptune Blue, both of which are interesting slope color variations and look beautiful yet sexy.

At the back, there is a slightly thick camera bulge that accommodates four lenses. Quite strangely under the bulging side of the camera there is the Realme logo placed. Usually the brand logo is placed under the back of the device or under the side vertically. Yes, there are variations – but it looks untidy and unsightly. On the 64MP main lens, there is a yellow circle. This is possible to distinguish between the main lens and other lenses.

The Port

At the bottom there is a lattice of speakers, a microphone, a UBS-C port, and the most interesting is the 3.5mm audio jack port. Moving to the top, there is only a microphone. On the right side is a power button with a bit of orange, but no texture. On the left side is the volume button and on the front on a small notch – there is an earpiece and a selfie camera lens. Bezel on this device is thin, except on the slightly thicker part of the chin.

The back panel of this Samsung android easily catches fingerprint dirt, especially on the blue color. However, it can be avoided with the silicone frame included in the box. Overall, it has a good, beautiful design, just less neat. It looks like a Xiaomi Mi 5 device with curved glass on the back. For the year 2019-2020, this device can be said to use a design like a middle class device.

Battery in Galaxy A51

Battery in Galaxy A51

The battery in Galaxy A51 only have 4000mAh capacity. From what Samsung has to offer, it is already adequate. Like I said, the usage I tested was on social media and video only. Most are YouTube, and WhatsApp, then new cameras.

Unpretentious use, I got a 4 hour 47 minute SOT with 15%battery balance. Based on experience, the remaining 15% can last for an additional 45 minutes to an hour depending on usage. For myself, about 5 hours of this SOT is already satisfying. This in turn is with the Adaptive Battery setting and Optimized mode used. So the way I use it is smart and well managed by the system.

The charging system used is an old system, namely Adaptive Fast Charging. The power is only 15W which for 2020 is very slow. To me, Samsung should at least offer 18W fast charging. So it can be used with other USB-PD chargers to further facilitate users.

Lens

For the main lens, it is ok !. The color is just fine, has a focus that works nicely, and the color results are a bit vivid. It has no satisfactory enough HDR value. This 48MP lens for me is enough performance.

Most disappointing pictures at night, or in dark conditions. There was serious kenta glare and a lot of noise. Even using the built -in night mode, the results are disappointing. Maybe if Samsung improved the algorithm to be smarter, it might be better.

Lastly is the selfie camera. The selfie image on this Galaxy A51 camera is a bit faded. The color is not so vivid and vivid. Yet the colors are more realistic and natural. Being the less pretty result is the end result is a little soft.

On the front screen, it has a comprehensive screen design. There are no thick notches or foreheads and the earpiece is fitted on the upper skeleton. However, on the front of this Samsung android there is still a rather thick chin.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Lifestyle

Samsung Galaxy A51 Lifestyle

Like other Galaxy A devices, Samsung focuses on Samsung Galaxy A51 lifestyle use. So, throughout the use of this device I did not play the first. What I use is, social media apps, surfing the web in Google Chrome, watching videos on YouTube and even Netflix. Oh yes, of course also WhatsApp as my daily communication medium. In one day, if only use the device for a short time – it has good performance. However, when fully committed to daily tasks and relentless use of social media including the use of cameras – the device begins to freeze and serious time delays begin to be felt.

Scrolling to go to the home screen, or accessing a list of open apps is extremely slow and annoying. The animation is snagged, and microlag is frequent. Even more frustrating is the WhatsApp application, which only needs the screen to always be idle active or need to always open this application only before notifications will be received. If you just lock the screen or return to the home screen accidentally, WhatsApp will freeze and not run in the background. Indirectly all message or call notifications will be received.

Mode

So you imagine, with a android performance like this, what if it plays first? Yes, there is a first mode like Game Launcher – but as far as it goes it can be optimized well. The use of social media alone can heat up the device, imagine the first.

The camera, Samsung has used a rectangular module by loading four lenses arranged in the shape of the letter “L”. The lenses used are; 48MP + 12MP + 5MP + 5MP and the selfie camera is 32MP. The device also has NFC support for Samsung Pay cashless payments, uses a USB-C port, maintains a 3.5mm audio jack port and uses only six.

Note 10 Lite OS

Note 10 Lite OS

In line with the current Galaxy Note 10, the Note 10 Lite OS also runs the One UI 2.0 operating system based on Android 10. Because the One UI 2.0 Android 10 is not an exclusive operating system between Samsung android, it does not have its own special features. So, there is not much I can share. All I can tell you is it’s different from the regular Note 10, as in the settings section which doesn’t have the same S-Pen settings.

Also, other supports are just the same. In terms of interface design, the One UI is more user -friendly and easy to use as well as dark theme mode support that is suitable for devices that use AMOLED screens.

For full gesture control, One UI 2.0 uses the same gesture controls as Android 10. It’s a gesture control similar to the iPhone X and is actually easy to use. However, gesture control like this is not a favorite of many and on the One UI 2.0 – this gesture control is not as fast or as smooth as on the Pixel 4.

Changes

While the One UI 2.0 already has a lot of changes, it’s still not my favorite operating system. The overall design is so cheerful and to me it feels like a perfect theme for ribena kids. In the beginning yes, it looks pretty and neat – but over time it feels less likable.

Group selfies are the worst. It has the quality of a screen recording from a CCTV or a device that only supports 3GP. In abundant light conditions as well, the results are disappointing.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite uses an optical type screen bottom fingerprint scanner. It’s a different technology from ultrasound, which on the Galaxy Note 10 is quite fast. But on the Note 10 Lite, the stamp scanner system is very slow. When compared to the Samsung Galaxy A51, which is their middle class device – the A51 is much faster than the Note 10 Lite.

You have read “Note 10 Lite OS”

Note 10 Lite Front

Note 10 Lite Front

On the Note 10 Lite front, it has a very thin forehead (almost none) and on this side is the location of the earpiece. Directly to the side of the screen is a selfie camera, whose lens is not so dark and even if the device is turned off – the lens is clearly visible. Each side of the bezel is thin and the chin is also practically thin. Overall, the design of this device does not look at all like a Galaxy Note device. It really does look like a Galaxy A device. In the hand it is also very light and it can be said, it is a “cheap” device.

Speaker

If the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 uses stereo speakers, what about the Lite? Of course not. It only uses mono speakers. However, the speakers are not rubbish and have an acceptable quality. It’s just that it doesn’t have a loud enough voice. If used outdoors, the sound level is already maximum and the sound is sometimes difficult to hear – depending on the type of content.

In terms of sound quality, it’s like what you see on a premium mid range android Samsung Galaxy A device. It has acceptable speakers, whether listening to music on Tidal or Spotify or even YouTube Music – the quality is just fine. It’s just that it won’t provide a satisfying listening experience.

However, this device has been optimized with Dolby Atmos. So, with the 3.5mm audio jack port-just use any set of quality earphones to add a more enjoyable listening experience.

Benchmark Score

As I said earlier, the performance of this Galaxy Note 10 Lite is not that great. It has okay performance, but for 2020 and if you plan to use this device in the long run – better just forget about it. Just imagine, on the AnTuTu website the Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi MIX 2s and Pocophone F1 have higher benchmark scores than the Note 10 Lite. I only compare it to the Note 9, because of the use of the same chip.

You have read “Note 10 Lite Front”

Galaxy Note 10 Device

Galaxy Note 10 Device

The Galaxy Note 10 device is powered by Samusng’s own chip, the Exynos 9810 with a 10nm build. It is also matched with 8GB RAM memory and 128GB internal storage. For those who feel it is not enough, support microSD memory cards up to 1TB. This Exynos 9810 chip is not a new chip, but is a chip that was used in the last two years in the Galaxy Note 9. Yet is it powerful enough to be used in 2020? This is because, Android devices only last for two years for major updates and three years for security updates.

However, when compared to the Galaxy Note 10 – the display on the Note 10 Lite is more faded and less bright. Still, when I give this device to some people to compare – many prefer the Note 10 Lite screen over the Note 10. My personal opinion is, the Note 10 is much better.

Compare

If two years ago, the Galaxy Note 9 was incredibly powerful. Yet if used now, its performance is fine and not comparable to devices from competitors in the same class. The Note 9 in the last two years runs Android Oreo, while the Note 10 Lite runs Android 10. Will it make a serious performance difference? In my use, the Note 10 Lite has just okay performance. In my experience, the Note 10 Lite has performance comparable to a mid -range device and is not at all worthy of being called a flagship device.

As long as I use the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite, I use it in two situations. The first situation is light use, such as opening a few applications, only using social media including WhatsApp and the use of a web browser only. In this situation, the performance of this device is smooth, but not fast. No time lag, but it feels slow and as a regular user uses a Snapdragon -generated device. The comparison I can give is, the performance of this Galaxy Note 10 Lite is slower than the Pocophone F1.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Camera

Samsung Galaxy A71 Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A71 camera uses a quad-camera system of 64MP f/1.8 (main) + 12MP f/2.2 (ultra wide angle) + 5MP f/2.4 (macro) + 5MP f/2.2 (bokeh) lens. For the selfie camera is 32MP f/2.2. The overall result of this camera is as expected for Samsung’s mid range android. Still, bokeh lenses and macro lenses to me are a gimmick and seem to have no function. Only the ultra wide angle lens surprised me as the results were very satisfying.

I’ll start with the ultra wide angle lens first. Samsung uses a 123 degree viewing angle and is extremely wide. Not only that, it has a fisheye -like display but seems to have a distortion problem that has been fixed. Indirectly displays a beautiful and attractive ultra wide angle picture. In terms of color, it has a high dynamic range value, vivid colors and precise details.

We are sure you will also want to see the results of this flagship 64MP sensor, this sensor is no longer new but for the Samsung brand, it is among the first. We found that Samsung is no longer towards brighter pictures but instead is more focused on stable, sharp lighting as expected capability on the 64MP sensor. But we still don’t like it, because we had to activate the 64MP mode manually.

Also, instead of a macro lens – it can give the image we want. However, the Galaxy A71 only mimics a 40mm lens and to take macro photos it needs to be at a great distance. While competitor devices focus on a distance of 2.5cm or 0.5cm.

Selfie

Lastly is the selfie camera. The selfie image on this Galaxy A71 camera is a bit faded. The color is not so vivid and vivid. Yet the colors are more realistic and natural. Being the less pretty result is the end result is a little soft. Interestingly, the Live Focus mode on the front camera has the same great performance as the rear camera.

Oh yes, before I forget – here are samples for cameras in dark areas or at night. This is the worst camera so far, overly full of noise and as if there is absolutely no post-process. It doesn’t matter if you use night mode or not.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Chip

Samsung Galaxy A71 Chip

As for the Samsung Galaxy A71 chip, it is one of the best among the four devices that Samsung launched in early 2020. This is because, Samsung does not use the Exynos chip – instead it is the Snapdragon 730. While not the most powerful like the Snapdragon 730G, it is still better than a chip like the Exynos 9611. Then, Samsung matches it with 6GB of RAM memory and 128GB of internal storage. If 128GB is not enough, the internal storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Despite using the Snapdragon 730 processing chip, can this android device take on the responsibility of running many applications? This is because Samsung devices that run their own operating system, are notorious for their time -lapse operating systems. Especially on middle-class devices. Thankfully, for the Galaxy A71 it has good performance. In fact this is the best among all the other Galaxy A series. This fast performance is also due to the use of UFS type memory instead of eMMC like other middle class devices. Overall, this Galaxy A71 has excellent performance.

Performance

But what is meant by such an outstanding performance? Is it just because on paper it has great specs, it deserves to be called that? No. In our tests, playing first with intensive graphics will provide a good playing experience. In fact, we didn’t even have a problem with the device heating up while playing. Samsung has also made one thing that was beyond our expectations, which in terms of graphics when playing the first one is very beautiful and the overall performance is very smooth.

The camera, Samsung has used a rectangular module by loading four lenses arranged in the shape of the letter “L”. Yes, uia has the same arrangement as Galaxy A51. The lenses used are; 64MP + 5MP + 5MP + 12MP and the selfie camera is 32MP. The device also has NFC support for Samsung Pay cashless payments, uses a USB-C port, maintains a 3.5mm audio jack port and uses only mono speakers.

On the front screen, it has a comprehensive screen design. There are no thick notches or foreheads and the earpiece is fitted on the upper skeleton. However, in front of this device there is still a rather thick chin.

Realme GT Master Performance

Realme GT Master Performance

In terms of Realme GT Master performance, the image results are good at adequate lighting. Image quality has satisfactory image detail. Staining is also well controlled for most situations. Although sometimes in some situations it is quite saturated. Night picture results can also be said to be good – as can be seen, the camera’s ability to control noise in a balanced way. The use of night mode also helps in improving the balance on the image to be better. Next, the zoom ability is also capable of producing good pictures. Then, the 2MP macro lens is just fine but there is nothing special about it.

Battery

The Realme GT Mater Edition is powered by a 4,300mAh battery. To us, it is a relatively small battery capacity. Even so, Realme is a bit clever to cover up the flaws with that by including fast charging support on it. The battery on the Realme GT Master Edition also supports fast 65W SuperDart charging for a short charging time experience. Realme said it is capable of fully charging a smartphone in just 33 minutes.
65W SuperDart Fast Charging

From our own experience, a battery of 7% can be fully charged in a time count of around 33 minutes. Arguably, the Realme’s claim is well -founded and indeed it promises a short charging time. Next, the average Realme GT Master Edition is able to last up to over 5 hours of old SOT with a 9% remaining battery on a 120Hz screen.

Refresh rate setting options in Realme GT Master. However, don’t worry too much because you still have the choice of whether to use the standard setting with a 60Hz screen or the high setting with a 120Hz screen. It can be changed through the settings on the smartphone. One more thing, this setting also presents another option called Auto Select. When it is activated, the refresh rate support will change automatically depending on the needs of the content itself. Therefore, the battery will be more economical and the usage time of the smartphone will also be longer.

Interface & Usage Experience

For specifications, the Realme GT Master Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chip. It is an eight -core chip with three different cluster divisions for specific uses. The CPU is a Kryo 670 with 1x Cortex A78 core, 3x Cortex A78 for performance and 4x Cortex A55 for efficiency. Maximum power is limited to 2.4GHz.
RAM virtually

The review unit we received is matched with 8GB of RAM memory and 256GB of internal storage. In addition, it also comes with additional virtual memory support of a maximum of 5GB. This is suitable for users who want more RAM. In fact, it is also seen to be part of the trend of most manufacturers at this time. Even so, the existing memory support is actually sufficient for most tasks in our view.

For example, dark theme mode and Always on Display which can be customized. In addition, there is also support for floating windows that allow more efficient use of the Realme android and more.

In general, we do not have any problems with this screen. The color display is good, bright and beautiful. No matter what you do with this smartphone, most of the details on the screen look pretty good. Want to scroll through social media? Want to read news content on Amanz? Also to watch your favorite video or drama series? Don’t worry, it is indeed capable of providing a good user experience.

In addition, this Realme GT Master finish is also matched with a strip line pattern that clearly looks like a real suitcase. At the same time, there is also the Realme branding and the Fukusawa signature exclusive to this edition next to the main camera module on the back.

Nauto Fukusawa Exclusive Signature

As it turns out, the android design concept is simple, neat and unpretentious. To us, it quite suits the tastes of some consumers who love a non -fibrous finish. But, they want a finish that looks to accentuate the style. Undoubtedly, the Realme GT Master Edition is indeed supplied with such elements. Then, it’s also a good smartphone in our view. The built -in texture used is quite good as it is able to provide a comfortable feel in the hand. This Japanese man just know how to satisfy people with this robust looking design. It is just look so unique.

It also doesn’t feel slippery at all, so its weight of around 180-grams is not at all burdensome for one-handed use. So, if you are the type who is so fond of typing texts on WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger or the like with one hand only. Believe us, this situation will not raise any issues. Not only that, the hands will not feel sluggish. Its thin size also makes it easy to put it in a pants pocket or small spaces in the bag.

Usually, the issue of dirt involving fingerprints often provokes various reactions among consumers – including ourselves. Add annoying when it is necessary to wipe the back panel regularly to clean the dirt. But don’t worry because that doesn’t happen on the Realme GT Master Edition, it can even be said that there’s absolutely no dirt on it.

Huawei Nova 8 Results

In some situations, sometimes the Huawei Nova 8 results displayed are quite great and surprising. But that’s only occasionally and for the most part in terms of brightness, white color balance, and the way it detects light so it’s not so exposed is like a Xiaomi or Realme device sold at a price of around under RM1500.

For ultra wide angles, if the view is the sky you will not see the effect of distortion. But when there are buildings, cars, street lights or other objects; this effect is clearly visible and makes the picture result is not high quality. If you crop the picture and focus on the subject to have a better point of view; it will offer more interesting results.

In my opinion, for a device that doesn’t have GMS-it’s a hard-to-sell android; and a camera is an important thing to greet a device-at least give it a little change that can grab people’s attention; other than the design alone.

Selfie

The selfie result of this Huawei android which uses a 32MP sensor is as if using a lower sensor. The quality is not very consistent and the portrait mode is also not very neat. Lately I have realized, most android from China have artificial intelligence post-process problems that make the results not so consistent. To stay good results, AI needs to be turned off; but if turned off the color profile becomes different as you can see below this paragraph.

The main camera at the beginning of use I felt quite satisfactory. But day after day of using it and distinguishing between one sample from another; I found that the colors produced were different. Is the AI on this camera still trying to learn? That I’m not sure. While there is already artificial intelligence, the Huawei Nova 8 has one problem that was present on most Android devices a few years ago, switching between lenses or zoom modes will give different results.

Huawei Nova 8 Usage

Huawei Nova 8 usage and software is going to be discussed in this article. The screen on the device on paper is actually pretty awesome. It is quite bright, bright and has vivid colors. But due to limited software, it is not capable of displaying HDR content on any streaming platform. Quite disappointing there. This slightly curved design is also not very deep and can still be used without any annoying feeling.

The included 90Hz refresh rate support is kind of adaptive, which in my testing it was not very consistent and many times I felt it was just 60Hz. When using the 90Hz setting only constantly, it does not provide a smooth enough experience compared to other devices in this class.

Chip

With the Huawei Kirin 820E chip designed based on the 7nm build, it has many shortcomings compared to the Dimensity or Snapdragon chips in the same category. For example, it uses a 3+3 arrangement as opposed to many competitors using the 1+2+3 setting for more efficient power consumption. Due to that, the performance of the first play was not very interesting.

In an attempt to play Asphalt 9, the first menu was very slow and snagged. But in a game session at the highest setting, it can be played well. Even trying to make a payment from within the app is pretty good. Other starters such as PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile have problems because there is no GMS and if you do a manual installation, it will not provide a good playing experience.

The Nova 8 runs Huawei’s new android operating system, EMUI 12 instead of Harmony OS 2.0 or 2.1. But in terms of design when compared to the recently launched MatePad 11, it has a lot in common. First, it’s still based on Android 10. Both notification tray, control center, settings etc are just the same.

Galaxy Z Flip3 Audio

Galaxy Z Flip3 Audio

Galaxy Z Flip3 audio is better than expected due to the presence of stereo and Dolby Atmos support. Slightly less balanced as the bottom speaker shoots to the side. To make a phone call (with the screen not open) the audio produced is quite loud and clear. Not broken I prefer to answer the phone without opening the screen first. There is no 3.5mm audio jack but the bluetooth tether supports SBC, AAC and LDAC codecs. If you have an audio accessory that supports high -resolution audio, the Z Flip3 audio system is satisfying.

Telephony and GPS

There is 5G network support but I can’t test this because it has not been offered in Malaysia. Phone calls using the LTE network are satisfactory, clear and without any problems. If your telco supports VoLTE and calls using WiFi the call quality I feel is better and clearer. Support for dual SIM is included but only one is physically nano -sized and the other in eSIM form.

GPS performance is also extremely fast like other flagship Samsung android tested previously. The Waze and Maps applications when used can track the location of a vehicle in less than two seconds. While driving there is no issue of sudden loss of signal or wrong location being shown in the app. As a phone it is great as a GPS device it is excellent.

Bench mark

The Samsung benchmark scores recorded using Geekbench 5 and Antutu 3D are as below. It is comparable to the score of other devices that use the Snapdragon 888. The performance of the first run is good without any issues. The time taken to process the video is also very fast. The only issue that exists is that the device gets hot when playing the high-graphics first and goes through the post-process of the picture taken. This is an issue that exists on all devices with Snpdragon 888 this year. The device can be less comfortable in the hand for long initial sessions.

Z Flip3 is not Disappointing

Z Flip3 is not Disappointing

So far the Z Flip3 is not disappointing but the shortcomings can be seen on the camera specs. The 12+12 MP sensor is used on the main camera with wide -angle and ultra -wide -angle lenses as well as a 10MP selfie camera. This is the same camera configuration as the passless model without any changes.

All these powerful components are incorporated into a body measuring 86.4 x 72.2 x 15.9-17 mm when closed and 166 x 72.2 x 6. mm when opened weighing 183` grams. The Z Fold3 is smaller and lighter when compared to the Z Fold2.

Usage And Software

Usage is more akin to using Samsung’s flagship smartphone like the Galaxy S21 Ultra than the Z Fold3. In the open position all features are the same. There is control support using a navigation tray or gesture. Side Panel is also included once with various additional features for quick links to apps, flashlight and pairing two apps at once in Split View.

The only issue as I said at the beginning of this article is that the screen is higher than usual. Users need to familiarize the position of the hands and fingers to access hard -to -reach corners with the use of one hand. For those having difficulty, Samsung’s one -handed mode can help by minimizing the screen display. How to access it is the same as on other Samsung devices by pressing the home button three times.

Screen

While the elongated screen raises a bit of user -friendliness issues, it also provides some advantages. First of all when launching two applications simultaneously with Split View, the window size used is larger. In a horizontal position, watching a movie with an elongated screen ratio feels more natural. For example watching the movies Mad Max Fury Road and Death Race at full ratio without black bars is satisfying.

More satisfying is playing the first FPS like COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile. The Samsung android displays games at an ultra -wide ratio like a gaming monitor. Fingers are placed at the left and right ends of the screen away from the center. In the first of this FPS avoid fingers blocking objects in the game.

Galaxy Z Flip3 Screen

Galaxy Z Flip3 Screen

The 6.7 ″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable Galaxy Z Flip3 screen is larger than expected because it is taller than wide. The screen ratio is 22: 9 which is higher than the 21: 9 on the Xperia 1 II that I reviewed last year. This is a very challenging screen ratio as it is higher than normal. However, there is no need to worry because the one-handed mode that is accessed by pressing the home button 3 times can be accessed at any time if it feels too awkward. How to hold this Samsung android requires you to change old habits to make use more comfortable.

The change with last year’s technology was the adaptive support of 120Hz high refresh rate. The screen displays smooth movement but at the same time reduces battery usage as the refresh rate is dynamically changed. Under the scorching sunlight I felt it was still not as good as it could be enjoyed on the Galaxy S21 Ultra even though both are from the Dynamic AMOLED 2X family. I still can’t recommend its use under strong sun even at maximum evidence.

Issue

This is an issue that I also found happening on the Z Fold which is also being reviewed in the Amanz device lab. The good news is that we are still in a pandemic world and it can be said that 99% of hand -held devices are used indoors.

There are still screen holes but it doesn’t pose a problem; when listening to Samsung’s UDC under -screen camera technology reviews which are still not quite satisfactory at the moment. The use of camera holes is a reasonable gamble done by Samsung this year.

What about the folds on the screen? This is the question I receive the most on social media. Yes the folds are still visible on the Ultra Thin Glass coating pad used. The good news I can give is that it will go unnoticed while using the device. It is only visible when viewed on the side or the content being viewed has a white background. Like the giant notch on the iPhone 12 screen; the folding effect on this screen will disappear from view after the device is used for a day. It’s the price to pay for Samsung’s foldable screen technology at the moment.

Mate 30 Pro Conclusion

Mate 30 Pro Conclusion

Today article is about Mate 30 Pro conclusion. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is proof that good hardware is meaningless without if not backed up with also good software. On paper the Mate 30 Pro 5G is powerful enough to be among the best devices until mid -2020. Its screen is unique, its processor is powerful, its memory is enough to multi -task, its battery lasts long and its camera capabilities are amazing.

But all that doesn’t make sense if popular apps can’t be downloaded because they’re only offered on Google Play. The history that hit Blackberry 10 and Windows Phone is repeated again with this time it is Huawei‘s turn to be the victim. As an Android user in Malaysia who relies heavily on Google services, the lack of official GMS support is very much felt. While we know how to install it on the Mate 30 Pro 5G, the steps to be taken are extremely harassing.

If the device is not lifted from the table surface, it will shut down without any notification being received. This is weird even though we didn’t select Power Saving Mode on the battery settings. Even with the system deactivated, all real -time notifications seem to be blocked. This is an issue that has not been resolved since EMUI 10 Beta yet.

Battery

The battery life of the Mate 30 Pro 5G is indeed amazing; but is achieved by sticking to providing much -needed notifications. There is no solution at this time. The bad news is that you will miss WhatsApp message and email notifications on the device. The good news is that the device lasts a long time; and you won’t be bothered by notifications from the device.

The large battery for a pinnacle Huawei android supports 40W charging. The process of charging up to 100% takes 70 minutes. This is comparable to the 27W charging system on the Note 10+ which comes with a 4300 mAh battery. If wireless charging is required, 27W charging can be done along with the ability to recharge other devices wirelessly. A 40W charger is included with every purchase via the USB-C port.

Mate 30 Pro Image

Mate 30 Pro Image

Up to 5X zoom, the Mate 30 Pro image quality is very good for pictures taken using a smartphone. We can say comparable to the P30 Pro. Images start to blur at 10X and 30X zoom settings. Clearly the image looks much softer and the detail of the object drops sharply. During the day, our Mate 30 Pro’s zoom capability puts it in second place behind the P30 Pro. It’s still much better than what can be recorded through the Note 10+ camera and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Audio

The included speakers are of the stereo type with one being of the ultrasonic type under the screen with the other at the bottom. Therefore the stereo audio produced is disproportionate to the more powerful bottom audio magnifier. This makes the enjoyment of watching videos less satisfying. In other words the Mate 30 Pro 5G audio system is the same as the regular Mate 30 Pro.

Another most notable shortcoming is that there is no longer Dolby ATMOS support again due to trade constraints that make this technology from the United States unusable. The absence of Dolby ATMOS is noticeable. The audio feels a bit flat, the bass audio doesn’t rumble at a satisfactory level and the treble isn’t as good as it could be heard on the Mate 20 Pro and P30 Pro before. Both devices have Dolby ATMOS support built-in.

Earphones

Audio quality using earphones is also affect for this reason. If you read the reviews of the P30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro, we have a touch of EMUI 9 does not show the battery level of the tethered bluetooth audio accessory. Again the same problem can be seen on the Mate 30 Pro 5G despite having run EMUI 10 base on Android 10.

Why functionality that has become standard on Huawei Android devices since Android Oreo is not supported remains a mystery. Because the Mate 30 Pro 5G’s audio capabilities remain the same as the Mate 30 Pro, we categorize it as moderate for a premium flagship device.

5G network

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is the world’s first smart device with a 7mn+ EUV2 processor chip. Through it, it supports low power consumption, supports both SA and NSA 5G networks; and supports multi-band FDD and TDD networks. Along with it, it also includes NPU (Neural Processing Unit) support which improves the performance of artificial intelligence.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro

App Twin – Uses two apps like WhatsApp simultaneously.
